DWarm summer night. The backyard
is full of luscious greenery; deep blue pool water surface is reflecting the mellow starry sky. The Latin Lover appears in the window, outside the house,
knocking. Alice has been waiting for him,
slender, sexy, wearing her swimsuit,
ready to take a plunge in the pool under the stars.
“I missed
you,” she says as he’s undressing her without making a sound.
“How are
you? Aren’t you going to say ‘Hi’ to me?”
“I am doing
it right now,” he responds – touching and kissing her.
“This is how
I greet you.” All of their
clothes are off…
“But… the neighbours”? Alice says cautiously.
“Are you
really worried about the neighbours?”
The water is
cool and sleek, hugging them, caressing them, swallowing into its depth. Adding to the erotic sensations of touch, they
play in and out of the water. “He’s so
creative and versatile” Alice is thinking,
laying on top of the water, watching the stars, enjoying his lips on her
clit.
“He’s here”
– says the Latin Lover. She turns around – it is her Husband. “Will you join
us?”
Two men, one
woman, in the pool. “Come closer; I want
to feel you both!” Kissing one at a time, touching – thank God for two hands!
Feeling their firm sexy bodies underneath the cool water, sensing their touch
and mouths on her, getting loud.
Time to warm
up – a hot steamy shower – all three together in it.
Water… represents life, rebirth and pure happiness.
That’s exactly how Alice is feeling right now. Birthing into an embodied sexual
priestess, feeling pure happiness, joy, and
expansion. She is redefining herself as a free,
divinely sexual creature, and feeling as though a unique water healing
ritual is taking place.
And as a
culmination – even more liquid. This time all over the bed, carpet, and floor.
Yep, quite messy – when you’re dealing with Alice, you’re facing a lot of
cleaning afterward!
But the sights, sounds, and tastes are completely worth the work!

Our resident artist Khabbie has provided an original drawing, along with lessons for aspiring illustrators. Kahbbie is also the host of our monthly Figures and Fantasies event, held on the first Monday, during Sass After Class
Hello everyone! I’m Tina, my art alias is Kahbbie and today I’m gonna briefly go over how to use references in a piece plus some tips and tricks that I use to make art and have fun while doing it.
Before I start with the how-tos of using references I’m
going to say that doing so is great when you’re starting out or when you want
to up your game a bit. Take a photo of your hand when you can’t figure out
hands and so on.
For this piece I took a couple pictures of the packaging of
Tom of Finland toys as they all have individual art pieces of gay men
specifically for the poses because I love the way the characters interact.
Firstly lay out your basic shapes based on the reference. If
you’re working with paper don’t be afraid to sit down with a printed copy of
your reference photo and trace over the shapes and details to get a feel for
where everything is before you draw it out.
Secondly, adjust things that aren’t working for you. I was
having real trouble tilting back the head until I decided to just draw it
neutrally, plus I adjusted the legs so that the strap on would shine through.
If you’re drawing from reference to improve stuff that’s challenging simply
give it your best shot, but if you’re just drawing from a photo you liked
adjust whatever you want. It’s your art.
Thirdly make it your own! While it’s good to study by
replicating the way other artists do things developing the skill to change
things while having the piece still work is also an important skill! As you can
see I changed the gender, skin tones, clothing, the general positions of arms
and legs, the time of day, how zoomed in out view was, how much of the
motorcycle can be seen and how much detail we can see and added a background
while still maintaining my goal of keeping the general pose and the feeling of
warm cuddly sex in an unconventional spot that the original photo has.
Lastly don’t be afraid to scrap an idea and try again! As
you can see from the process video for this piece I had a different reference
and pose in mind but found it was interesting enough to me so I erased
everything and started again. A great art teacher once told me that sometimes
you need to destroy your art to make it better and I find that advice works
whenever I get stuck.
Oasis Aqualounge is more than just a venue; we are a community hub for sex-positive businesses, educators and performers. Our club is made up of wonderful employees who embrace our sexually-liberated, clothing-optional and body positive values.
This week, we are excited to showcase our Oasis AquaFlirts: Reia & Cece
If you love visiting Oasis Aqualounge and would like to be included, please email info@oasisaqualounge.com, attention Miss F.
What is your favorite part of Oasis Aqualounge?
Reia: The phenomenal atmosphere for sure! Our staff and patrons are lovely, curious, and opened minded people. We are in a lot of ways a community based establishment, and this allows us to hold a variety of themed nights to cater to those different communities. Each of our event nights have a different vibe, but each welcomes both new and established guests.
Cece: I love the community atmosphere, I love the kind and courteous environment. I love being able to walk around nude and that not change a thing. Throughout my time at Oasis I have met so many people who shared the most intimate yet informative information with me. Information that helped me find myself within the lifestyle.
What was your first visit like?
Reia:The artist in me keeps me on the curious side, so I only knew two things; that it existed, and that I needed to see what it was all about. After some discussion with my then, very hesitant partner, we agreed to take the plunge together. We had no idea what to expect, but it was a great first experience. It was a quick turnaround for even my partner to become comfortable and I find that really speaks to the welcoming and inclusive attitude of Oasis Aqualounge. The rest is history!
Cece: This is my favourite story! I tell it all the time. I showed up to Oasis the second I was able to. 19th birthday, exploring kink & polyamory in such a luxurious environment surrounded by such emotionally mature & liberated company. This place has always maintained the dreaminess I felt my first time here. I just feel a little more at home every day
When is your favorite time to visit the club and why?
Reia: Honestly, it always depends on my mood. Sometimes I feel like having a little downtime and other times I really want to live it up. That’s why I love that we cater to both relaxed, tranquil spa-like environment early in the day and then, as we creep into the later hours, the Djs turn up the music and it’s easy to dance the night away. Of course, if you want to slip up to our third or fourth floor there are different kinds of entertainment!
Cece: I personally really enjoy the club on a Wednesday evening. With event features like #DDLG presentations, Naked Yoga, Burlesque, etc. I seriously recommend it to EVERYONE.
However I also really enjoy Tuesday’s for Games Night, DTF, Bukkake & One of my All Time Favorite nights to be apart of is Money Shot. There’s a real diversity when it comes to everything you could ever possibly experience at Oasis on these two days and I really love that.
What drew you to the Oasis AquaFlirt position?
Reia: I blame that all on Ace! She originally suggested that I’d be a good fit for the team, and when I sat down with Fatima I knew immediately that I wanted the position. This job really allows me to extend and explore the passion and creativity that I already put into my performances in the burlesque industry. There are so many interesting characters being introduced into my life with this position and there is always something new to learn .
Cece: Once I started frequenting Oasis more as a guest I really started to mesh in with the community. It was someone I had become friends with who made me aware there was an AQF position at the club. I went home that night & immediately applied. I was still learning about Oasis and the lifestyle and what it all meant & what it entailed but I was 100% positive I wanted to be apart of it. I still am.
What was your most memorable AquaFlirt gig to date?
Reia: Our sixth year Sapphic Aquatica Party and Swordplay. I love that we can make this a healthy and comfortable space for our guests of all orientations, identities and genders! We are, at our core, an inclusive space no matter who or what you identify as. It’s a point of pride that we hold hold our selves up to a standard that makes a safe sexy environment for all.
Cece: Pride Week was one of my favourite AQF adventures. It was my first time attending pride. Where I was from before toronto Pride Parades were sooo not a thing. So to experience something so liberating and wonderful for the first time with some of the most awesome people (my fellow AQF squad), It certainly goes down in history as one of the best. We also got to educate so many other people about Oasis who all came back to the club with us in the evenings of Pride Week. It was the best form of community connecting.
What advice would you give someone who is considering visiting the club?
Reia: Whatever preconceived idea you have in your head, trash it. I’d love to set the scene for anyone interested in coming to Oasis. This is not like any place you’ve been before. Think of a modernized Roman bathhouse. Imagine yourself stepping outside and into a heated pool or hot tub. Afterwards you can relax luxuriously in a sauna or simply dry yourself off. You’re free to wear as much or as little as you please. There is no judgment or expectation of anything. You can sit down at the bar sip your favorite drink and maybe find yourself falling in a few interesting conversations. Maybe it’s one individual, maybe it’s with a group. Maybe someone you talk to piques your interest. The more you get talking the more you realize you have a lot in common, or perhaps you find yourself drawn to one another. Either way you decide to explore the rest of the house. The dungeon? Possibly. Maybe you stop to watch a burlesque show, or a demonstration, or scene in our ballroom. The two of decide to explore the third floor where you both notice other partners rolling around and kissing, caressing, fucking. It could be you, if you choose. But, of course, if just the first part of this scene tickles your fancy Oasis Aqualounge has got you covered! Relax, unwind and play if you chose.
Cece: Just show up with no expectations. Please do not show up assuming you’re going to immediately get laid or you’re going to miss out on every other awesome aspect of the community around you! Make your goals: Learning about yourself, New Wants/Desires, Asking questions, Meeting people who also know about/are interested in those lifestyle aspects, Go for a swim, Watch Burlesque, Do naked yoga, etc. Do not set the bar of your experience so low as to believe you are ONLY going to get laid. First take time to really experience what’s around you because it could change your life!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Reia: If I’m not at Oasis I’m most likely designing and creating a variety of things. I adore working with my hands and learning new skills. I have so many ideas for costumes, art work, photoshoots, burlesque dances and more. It’s had to keep track of them all, so I usually have a notepad or sketch book handy to jot down ideas any time inspiration hits!
Cece: In my spare time I really find myself continuing to work. Whether it be at home or on the go. I model professionally part-time. Deal with Social Media Marketing. Create Adult Content as well as Cam Regularly.
However on the rare occasion I get
a moment to truly unwind I love reading; mostly historical fiction or
biographies.
Do you love to draw and/or model for erotic art? Check out our monthly Figures and Fantasies event on the first Monday of every month. We offer life drawings and the chance to express your sexual self through art. Students, singles and couples welcome.
Hello everyone! I’m Tina, my art alias is Kahbbieand today I’m gonna briefly go over how to let personality come through your art plus some tips and tricks that I use to make art and have fun while doing it.
I think when it comes to making your art as unique as you people generally lean on their art style but that’s just the foundation of what makes are unique and you can definitely build on it during the concept phase. When I started this piece I knew I wanted to capture the feeling of spending the afternoon in bed masturbating to your heart’s content and I could’ve simply drawn a person under the covers in a bed with white sheets and no discernible features with a toy but that would be boring for me and for you. You’ll have way more fun when you turn your subject matter into something that only you could draw.
So I started with the character – who is she outside of the piece? Because I liked the punk character I designed in the last illustration and I recently saw Captain Marvel and have been digging the Mohawk look I decided to make the character have an alternative hairstyle and piercings, but I didn’t want to just make her a punk. Then I had the idea maybe she’s both a sporty person and a punk rock fan to subvert the idea that people can only be one or the other.
Then I moved to the masturbation aspect, how do you represent the idea that a person is masturbating for a long time with only one image? Using my offhand knowledge of the various kinds of sex toys available on the market I decided that drawing multiple toys of different shapes looking used around the character would subtly show that the character has been having fun for a while. Drawing what you know is also a part of bringing your personality into a piece.
(I also added in the lube and toy cleaner because they’re both important to playing with toys safely.)
Finally, color plays a huge part in making a piece unique and tells it’s own story. Purple is the most common color of sex toy and in terms of color theory represents luxury and magic – all associations I wanted to make the viewer have with the piece and used only colors that complimented it.

What
is the first thing you think about when you think about turning the ‘legal
drinking age’?
As
a teenager, you spend so much time anticipating the day that you can get into
the clubs. Dance, meet people; go out with your girlfriends or your “bros”. For
me, I knew exactly where I wanted to be on my 19th birthday (the legal drinking
age in Canada): Oasis Aqualounge. To make my 19th birthday a night to remember
I was 100% going to be at Toronto’s upscale adult playground.
In
short, it was the best night of my life, and now? I get to live my best life,
every day. I knew that I wanted this place to be a part of my life and it only
took me three weeks to land my dream job. Nearly two years later, it’s still my
dream job.
My
name is Cecilia Morrell, otherwise known as ‘Cece’ and I’m an event hostess, Oasis AquaFlirt,
Brand Ambassador & Sybian operator at Oasis
Aqualounge.
My
job is to ensure that every visit you make to Oasis is a good one; whether it
is your first visit, or your twelfth visit. Unlike many clubs in North America,
Oasis is open seven days a week from 11am to 3am, so I am one of about 40
staff. As an event hostess, I am here to make sure the night’s festivities are
running smooth & that you are enjoying your experience.
One
of my favorite parts of hosting events are the conversations I get to have with
new or familiar faces. I love providing people with the tools they need to
enjoy the environment. Whether is making introductions, providing tours,
sharing information on certain lifestyle tips or providing a run-down on what
the evening holds in store.
As
an Oasis AquaFlirt, I transitioned into a brand ambassador. The AquaFlirt team
are a group of sex and body-positive employees who travel around to different
events, within the city limits, to share information on Oasis Aqualounge as
well as hand out coupons for the venue.
Some
of my favorite experiences include the times where we were able to share our
values with people who were not aware that Oasis existed but who instantly fell
in love with our mission statement.
As
AquaFlirts we have a positive effect on the community around us. We participate
in events such as World
Naked Bike Ride and we have participated in the annual Intersectional
Go Topless March to support the idea nudity in and of itself should
not be sexualized without consent and protest sexual harassment.
I
think it’s important to bring visibility to these issues and to bring attention
to the fact that sexuality is healthy and beautiful; there should not be so
much shame and negative stigma attached. Bringing sex-positivity out of the
shadows and encouraging a healthy view on sex, kink and relationships is so
important.
Lastly
as Sybian operator, I have the joy of helping to facilitate new, orgasmic
experiences for people looking to explore with a new toy. Speaking from
personal experience, I know how fun it can be to explore new limits, learn new
ways to enjoy a better sex life & experiment with masturbation in a public
setting.
I
like to educate people on the Sybian and walk them through their first time, as
a rider. I would say I ‘hold their hand’ through the process but in reality, I
mostly hold the buttons. It’s important
to me that, although I may be in charge of the controls, that I make people
aware that I am not in control of their experience. I encourage communication;
what can I do to make this the best experience for you? I find so much happiness
in ensuring that I am providing them the best possible Sybian experience.
Over
the last two years, I’ve had the honor of being a part of people’s first orgasms,
first anal experiences, first time in exploring their sexuality in a public
setting and many more beautiful stories of self-discovery.
In
reality I could say that when it comes to all aspects of my career at Oasis, I
have had the honor of being a small piece of so many beautiful journeys of
sexual and self-discovery. That is why- from day one- this was my dream job.
That is why nearly two years late, it is still my dream job.
Armed with colorful, branded balloons and welcoming smiles, the AquaFlirts pounded the sunny streets to pass along information about Oasis Aqualounge and to share our values of sex and body positivity.

Those who had a chance to meet the Aquaflirts were treated to our ‘Proud & Flirty’ branded balloons.

Call me a perv (no, please-it’s a compliment!) but I love to be surrounded by the sweet cacophony of sex sounds. Luckily, as the Marketing Director for Oasis Aqualounge-a sex club located in the heart of downtown Toronto-I can indulge in aural pleasure, seven days a week, from 11am-3am.
Oasis Aqualounge embraces a sex-positive attitude, which
means that the business “…promotes
and embraces sexuality and sexual expression, with an emphasis on joy (and) consensual
sex.” We assume a shame-free stance on
sexual pleasure; healthy sexuality is for everyone and every body. We uphold and support ongoing, active
consent between partners and we do not judge what brings someone physical
and/or emotional joy.
Spending time inside sex
club really opens your eyes (and ears) to what genuine pleasure looks, sounds
and smells like; sexuality has the power to evoke all of the senses. But for
some, vocalizing and/or hearing sexual gratification or alarming slaps and spanks
during kink play can be intimidating.
Recently, a friend confided
in me that their partner is sometimes overwhelmed by the sounds of her orgasms.
Being the sexually progressive person that I am, I immediately judged the
partner’s reaction as sex-negative and body shaming. Having an orgasm (or five)
in front of your partner(s) is one of the most vulnerable states you can be in.
As an enthusiastic and vocal
person myself, I don’t plan to scream
out loud; it’s just what my body does, in response to feeling unbelievably
amazing as a result of how my partner
is touching or fucking me. I find vocal
expression also helps to embrace the full-body power of the orgasm. Also, as a
sex-positive woman who is nearing her mid-forties, I am unlearning my sexual
shame; I am now a loud and proud cummer!
However, upon further
examination, it’s easy to equate the shame around vocalizing pleasure to how
mainstream society views sexuality, in general; particularly towards women. Mainstream
images of sexuality are still quite narrow; thin, youthful bodies that embrace
traditional femininity are favored as sexual beings. Sex is shown as
easy-breezy, mess-free fun where everyone has the same type of ethereal,
transcendent orgasm that is also kept within a controlled volume. Sheets stay
white, wet spots are non-existent and no one ever farts, laughs, cries or gets
a leg cramp. Yea, right.
Couples who are parents to
young children may have developed a habit of having inhibited, quiet sex; no
parent wants to wake up a sleeping child with their own sex noises. For couples
looking to escape the restrictions of their family home, a visit to Oasis
Aqualounge could offer a refreshing and liberating way to connect intimately as
sexually, expressive adults.
It’s no wonder that sounds which deviate from soft sighs or gentle moans could be jarring to a person that has only ever been exposed to what is deemed ‘acceptable.’ Inside the walls of Oasis Aqualounge, I have heard screams, cackles, whoops, grunts, giggles, groans and a string of expletives used in only the most delicious way. I have also be privy to silent orgasms, soft orgasms, whispers and long, robust sighs.
I feel grateful to exist
between the walls of Oasis Aqualounge where the vocalization of pleasure is
encouraged and where healthy, authentic forms of intimacy and erotic expression
flourish between consenting adults. For anyone who has ever been afraid of
their own sex noises, I recommend listening to other people have sex. Not only
does it normalize a basic human reaction, it could help you to get out of your
own sexual shell.
A crescendo of orgasmic cries rising in climax is a beautiful and mighty sound. Find your own voice and join the choir found inside our sexually charged, clothing-optional and shame-free environment.
The hosts of the sex-positive podcast Torrid Souls recently visited our bi-monthly Cougar, Cubs & Kittens event; an evening that celebrates mature women and the young people who love them. In their latest episode, Tori and Sol discuss the term cougar , the societal biases around that identity and their experiences at the event. Cougars, Cubs & Kittens is part of our regular Sass After Class programming; it encourages mature women to embrace their sexual prowess and younger guests to navigate through flirtation, seduction and consent.
Cougar, Cubs & Kittens is held bi-monthly on the third Monday at Oasis Aqualounge
We want to thank Tori and Soul (a same-sex, bisexual, female couple) for sharing their adventures at the club and for their support both in person and online via their Twitter account.
